We are low on jig blanks, please check with us prior to ordering. A new batch of blanks will be in process after New Years and will hopefully be ready before the end of February.
PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE:
We will need the serial number (Lxxxx) and date code from the back of your jig (particularly important if you have more than one jig with us). If your jig does not have a date code or serial number, we will have to do some digging to see if your jig is still in our archives. Its best to touch base with us prior to purchasing this item so that we can verify that we have the needed information on file and can verify there are not any other costs or complications.
You will choose the same options above, for a duplicate jig, as you did when you ordered your original jig. If you are unsure what you ordered previously, feel free to email us. You can also check your order history on the site, and see if that information is with your original order.
Turn around time - if the jig blank you need is in stock:
Estimated turn-around time is the same as a regular custom jig, 4-8 weeks - but usually faster. We suggest you PLAN ON 8 WEEKS and be pleasantly surprised if its faster. Please don't email and ask what our turn around time is, or how things are going, or how much longer we think it might be. If we have questions or issues, we will contact you. The last thing we do, is verify everything, if it comes out, we are done. If it doesnt, we start over from scratch - so we wont know when it's done, til it's done... and at that point, it will be done so it will be ready to pack and ship. We would rather spend our time working on jobs than typing emails. :D
Alterations may be made to the duplicate, in terms of locating the board on the blank. Raising/Lowering deck height, Making the pedestal longer, alterations to the cork notch, etc... Time consuming alterations may incur additional costs.
***ORIGINALITY NOTICE***
WE WILL NOT duplicate someone else's jig for anyone other than the originator of that toneboard.
Remember, do not sand, grind, or use carbide tools on the jig unless you are purposefully trying to alter the shape. Jigs are designed to withstand normal steel cutting tools such as files and saws. Do not use a hammer on any hardened part or tool as it may fracture and cause injury.
