This is an IMPORTED holder.

If you have previously purchased a MVS or PLS mandrel - rod only - and are purchasing this holder, you will need to fit the mandrel to the holder, generally some sand paper and a little time will get you there.  **You may also send the PLS or MVS rod to us and we can fit it for you for no additional cost.  The PLS and MVS rod only mandrels are typically 0.6255" - 0.6260" (.0005" - .001" oversize) and the adapter bores are .6249" - .6252" - which is why the mandrel requires fitting to the holder.

We STRONGLY suggest you purchase a COLLET CHUCK instead of this type of holder.  The collet chuck will be more accurate, be more versatile (will also hold expanding mandrels for example), and will not require fitting the mandrel to the holder.  It is more expensive at the onset, but in the long run, it will pay dividends as well as has a much higher resale value on the used tool market compared to this end mill holder style should you decide to no continue with call making.
