***02/28/2024 UPDATE: Please Read the details below! Especially the part about shipping address and the paypal email that gets sent to us!
Most of the jigs have been shipped out! If you have not received a tracking number via email from the website - check your spam filter etc...
PAYMENT INFORMATION: Here is the the "Remainder Due" Payment for the batch of FRRF jigs - Ivan's Project. If you did not do a pre-order then DO NOT purchase this item! This is ONLY for those that pre-ordered back at the end of 2023. Please do not purchase more than you pre-ordered for. (If you buy this item, and did not pre-order or order more than you pre-ordered, we will subtract the processing fees and a 15% fee from the amount we refund you) - VERIFY CONTENTS OF THE SHOPPING CART BEFORE YOU PAY!!! If you do not know if you pre-ordered, then log into your account, go to your order history, and look at your previous orders... That will tell you if you did, and if so, how many you pre-ordered. Please do not email us - asking if you did - you can look this up yourself on your account information.
We reduced the price by $10 to account for the material supplier not sending us what we ordered. They sent milled blanks rather than ground blanks. It does not affect the functionality of the jigs - only the appearance. They arent quite as pretty as they would have been if we would have gotten exactly what we ordered. Had we opted to make them replace the blanks, it would have added 6-8 weeks to the process and added cost to it as well. Apparently, despite being very specific with the order details, they felt they knew better, and not only didnt quote what we specified, but also didn't deliver it either - and so the replacement blanks would have also been more expensive than the original quote. Ugh... must just be how this world works these days? Sheesh. Anyway - we took some off the price because they dont look as pretty as we feel they should, and to get them to look the way we think they should, it would add a lot of extra work and cost to the whole mess - so we opted for a bit less pretty, completely functional, and kept the cost from going up or adding 2 months to the wait. Hopefully we chose correctly for everyone. If you just have to have "pretty" - we can bead blast the entire jig for an additional $35.00 (ooph... it takes a while to get tool steel to blast with the glass media I have) - you will need to choose the "Bead Blasted" option above the add to cart button. (Please allow additional time for us to bead blast your jig prior to shipping)
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
- Be sure your shipping address shows on the PayPal payment page (not just listed in your account information). The shipping label is created directly from the PayPal email, irrelevant of what your shipping address is on the online store account information (PayPal apparently doesnt automatically accept the shipping address from the online store - it defaults to the address on the account). PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK IT before you submit your payment on the PayPal Page. It will save us both some headaches and additional costs.
- We expect to be able to start shipping out jigs the week of Feb 26 - Mar 1, 2024. You will receive a tracking number from the website when your jig ships out. Any delays or updates will be posted on this link.
- Shipping will be added to this portion of the payment automatically by the online store. If there are other items from the website you need, feel free to add those at the same time so we can ship it all in one box and save you so shipping costs.
Thanks for your patience on this! It took longer than we anticipated and had more bumps along the way than expected - but we got er done.
There will be some extra left over (made extras in case we had any parts not make it, plus one for Fred Roe that I am not charging him for). Those will be added to this item AFTER all jigs have been received by everyone and there are no issues reported. We expect to do that NO EARLIER than April 1, 2024.
Additional Questions? Ivan is the contact.

INFO UPDATES:
02/26/2024: Started shipping some jigs - waiting for payment on others.
02/08/2024: Getting closer! Hoping to have all the jigs cut in the next week or two. Target date to have them completed is 02/23/2024 and ready to ship out 02/26/2024.
01/31/2024: And now we wait...
01/30/2024: Hoping to head to the Heat Treater tomorrow 01/31/2024... Fingers crossed
01/24/2024: Prep machining has been completed and the blanks are ready for heat treating. Hoping to get time to run to the heat treater here in the next week. Heat treating is estimated to take 2-4 weeks - but may be sooner. Once the blanks are heat treated and back in the shop it will be time to start them on the cutting operation on the Wire EDM.
01/18/2024: Issues with material were situated. Not to our liking, but having them remade would add another 7-9 weeks just to get material here. Surface finish of the blanks will be a milled finish rather than ground - functionally no different, purely aesthetic (aka not as pretty). Hoping to start machining the week of 01/22/2024. Once done with prep machining, the blanks will go to heat treat as soon as we can get away long enough to take them in (3 hour round trip). Sorry this is not progressing as fast as I had initially thought.
01/04/2024: Issues with material that was shipped by the supplier. Hopefully with the holidays over things might start happening faster. Steel supplier has not be very responsive with the problems thus far. Late February or March is starting to look more likely. Hoping things go better once the material issue is sorted out.
11/06/2023: Material Ordered - Estimated 6-8 weeks - next update will be made after material is recieved.
---------------------------------------
Deadline: Pre-order is now closed. Please do not contacts us asling if we have any more, extras, or can add one for you to this run, this batch run has been closed. If there are any left over, they will be listed here - first come first serve, no holds, no notifications etc.... Feel free to work on putting together your own batch run of at least 25. We can make a single jig, but the cost would be over $700.00 for the single jig run after factoring in the batch fee heat treating costs, material, prep, setup, etc... We'd rather not do a single jig, and we would guess you'ld rather not pay the cost of making a one-off either :D
If you have questions contact Ivan Hess - this is his baby... He can be found on the Call Nutz FB page if you dont already have his contact info. Ivan will have updates
No, we dont know when they will be done. Please don't email asking... read the updates above - that is the most up to date info. Plan on 3-4 months (January - February?) [edit] 4+ months (late February or March). When the jigs are done, we will let Ivan know, and he will notify folks. We have 4-8 weeks to wait on material (that will not be ordered until all deposits are in). Prep machining of the blanks are backlog/work load dependent. Heat treating will be 2-4 weeks. Wire EDM cut time on the jigs is backlog/work load dependent and we can only cut 3-6 jigs a day once running. And of course, we have to add in the holidays that are coming up - Thanks Giving, Christmas, New Years, family time, kid out of school, etc... You can see how it will add up to "a while".
Yes - there is a Fred Roe Reed Punch... no, it is not cheap. They are made to order, and a portion of the proceeds go to Fred. $1200 plus shipping and insurance is the price tag... A 50% deposit is required to order one. Contact WEBFoot Custom Calls via the online store to arrange to have a punch made. (Up front info... We do not guarantee punches we make for use with anything other than Mylar. They have been used successfully with other materials such as shim stock - but its a "use at your own risk" situation.)
I dont have much info or experience with making a Reelfoot style call - but I do have a write-up that Fred did back when he first had me run a batch of these jigs: CLICK HERE!
The fine print on the jigs...
Each Jig will come with 1/4-20 set screws, 1/4-20 nylon SHCS, and 1/8 & 3/16 Allen keys.
$100 deposit - is NON-REFUNDABLE (unless the batch is canceled due to insufficient quantities by WFCC - at which point a refund for the deposit LESS 5% to cover processing fees etc...)
If the batch size is not at least 25 jigs, the project will not continue unless changes in the price are agreed to by all involved. Yes, there can be more than 25... The material order will be based off of the number of deposits made. Once material has been ordered, it will NOT be possible to add on to the batch.
The final price of the jigs based off of the original material quote is $210 plus shipping (and insurance if you opt for it). If the material price changes, the end price of the jigs will change by that amount - but we do not expect much of a change, if any, but in todays economic climate its anyones guess. And yes, if material goes down, so will the price - which could happen if quantities go up notably (this is material supplier dependent). When the jigs are completed, Ivan will notify you, and this item will be changed over from "Pre-order deposit" to "Remainder Due". The website will handle the shipping and insurance side of things when the remainder due is paid (no shipping will be added to the deposit - but if you order other items AND the deposit, shipping will be added for the items that will ship separately).
Please dont email us asking when they are going to be done... We would much rather work on getting things done than typing up emails over and over about when they might be done. :D
