NEOPRENE - AS568A Aerospace Standard ID: #111
Please Note: These o-rings, though somewhat common in use on duck calls, have a thicker cross section than the #013 o-rings. We strongly advise the use of the #013 o-ring over the #111 as it leaves the keg stronger as a narrower groove can be used, and a larger minor diameter - allowing for a stronger tenon in that area. To each their own, but we advise against it.
Recent prices for these orings in Neoprene has been absolutely ridiculous (over 18 bucks for a 100 pack at some vendors) - so we have been trying to keep Buna-N in stock regularly as they are more price friendly, and we bring in Neoprene when we find them at a reasonable cost. If we are out, that means we havent found any at a reasonable price.
Neoprene is idea for call making - more specifically, it has a better resistance to dry-rot than Buna-N.
5/8" OD - 7/16" ID - 3/32" Thickness - 100 per package
Some use these o-rings for 5/8" AR style duck call inserts, but we feel the sectional width (thickness of the oring) is too large leaving the gland as a weak spot and more prone to breakage, and suggest the #013 oring over the #111 oring because of the smaller sectional width of the #013.
These can be used with the WCO500 but are a touch small and will require a very accurate bore.
